Rina Alesseri Scafidi’s work is held in private collections in the United States, England, Italy, Holland, Germany, Australia and Stamford, Connecticut’s Town Hall. She has been a member of five art associations in the New England area and the co-founder of Stamford Art Association. Throughout the years, Rina has appeared in all local newspapers, The New York Times, The Stamford Advocate, Greenwich Times, Darien News, and Connecticut Post and was given a special appearance in “Dial Thirteen” Magazine. She has received a number of awards for her paintings both in oil and portraits in watercolor, exhibiting in art galleries.
The Artist works with palette knife and brush technique that particularly suits her impressionist work. Presently, Rina is traveling, working “en plein aire” particularly to Province, France where she finds her most inspiration. |
